STUDIO 198X
is a visual studio working across graphic design, motion, image-making and visual identity.
Focused on nightlife, fashion and contemporary culture, the studio creates bold visual worlds shaped by queer culture, music, cinema, underground club aesthetics and modern image culture. Blending graphic design with atmosphere and storytelling, STUDIO 198X approaches each project as part of a larger visual universe rather than isolated content.
The studio’s work moves between campaign visuals, motion assets, flyers, posters, social content, branding systems and creative direction — balancing nostalgia, sensuality and contemporary digital aesthetics through typography, texture, movement and cinematic imagery.
Rooted in a distinctly art-driven approach, STUDIO 198X draws inspiration from nightlife ephemera, fashion editorials, cult cinema, early internet culture, fetish imagery and underground print design to create work that feels both vintage and contemporary at the same time.
Based between London / L.A., cinematic intimacy with rock-and-roll theatricality, and the charged glamour of youth culture and countercultural desire.
